LOW PRICES GREAT...CONSTITUTION....NOT SO BECAUSE OF IT
GO, BUCCANEERS!
Well, I officially began my solo Wal-Mart Cashiering last night...as we continue what should be an extremely crazy labor day weekend. Alot of interesting things happened....including something that prompted me to reflect on a Pastor Rich message during the "emotional rollercoaster" series...where he pointed out how god really hopes we can reflect on our past when trying to get through a new road block in our lives. Of course...those that know me, or are reading this blog may be aware of how I was laid off from a career in radio after it was determined a computer could do my job....a determination made by people in a big, stuffy office in Atlanta, Georgia that never got to know me, or my passion for serving my community. Well, I am praying over something that happened while I was checking out a customer. It turns out that shopper was none other than the daughter of my high school drama teacher....a girl I probably had only seen once since I graduated and she was in the ninth grade. For those that may not know....one of my big life-changing moments came in my senior year largely because of that high school drama teacher.....what I like to call my "awakening" from shyness as a young kid. Indeed, it does appear god has given me something to chew on as far as what the message may have been....I am convinced there was one. Feel free to leave me any questions or comments as I ponder this amazing event!
