All "Used Up"
Today, I was reading an article announcing the engagement of Jamie Lynn Spears to the father of her soon-to-be-born child. In the article, it mentioned a quote from a top photo agency head...which said the paparazzi is "all over" Britney now, despite the airing of her appearance on the sitcom "How I met your mother" this past week. Buzzphoto founder Brad Elterman was also quoted by the New York Daily News as saying "Over the weekend, there were less than a half dozen covering Britney, Yet there were 30 in the pack covering Miley Cyrus. Most of them were Britney regulars, but they want something new and fresh. It's moved on to Miley."
That's what amazes me about the media. We are 5 years into the Iraq War...and the mass media is so aware how sick of hearing about it the public is...one barely gets a word about what is happening now.
From the rollingstone controversial photoshoot in 1999 to the on and off relationships with men, babies with k-fed, to the 2007 head shaving after a one night stay at drug rehab, and ultimate loss of custody and psychiatric trauma...Britney has gone about as far as one can go for the hordes of photographers that have followed her...I pray that times are now gonna change for her with this insight, but pray for Miley and others the media tries to use for selling tabloids!
