The Jane Child One Hit Wonder Room

Since I started at the radio station in Preston this past July/August...things have continued to stay busy. One thing I would like to share in this blog today as I conclude a "double shift" at the radio station(don't ask!) is the surprising inquiry as to when I would be headed to church in Rochester again by someone who has not been there to check out the Journey church at the movies. I hesitate in putting up many questions towards this friend, but know from my readings of the McManus book we are exploring this month that this individual is indeed, someone who may very well wish to making steps towards "belonging" in this wild and wacky kingdom of god! Or....perhaps just a trip to see the movies was in his mind! In any case, I look forward to some Sunday we can make the trip up and I can show him this amazing group of people and amazing adventure. I'd also better get off my proverbial butt and sign up for some more "service" at church. I resolve this month to stay in contact with the worship leaders and will also continue to have daily talks with god as I know them as to when I wish to move forward again another baby step...I continue to wish February/March were here already...but also look forward to the challenges the current job will bring me through the holiday season, and the continuing messages at church that will continue to help shape my thoughts of faith!
