random thought post number one

I think I will start a series....and will post just every once in a while...a couple of "random" thoughts regarding not only what the day/week/event is shaping up to be...where I've been in a "diary" type fashion....but what I am looking forward to in eventuality....I'm going to try my hardest to include a thought/prayer in this....It has been becoming a bit easier to offer prayer to my lord in these recent weeks....if not only for the selfish reasons of my own life...for the reasons I have been holding onto since I came to this church in March of 2005....wanting to love and pray for others.

As I type this....I think about a good friend in Jesus-following that wants to "run" somewhere spiritually....see your "sign", I advised...

http://www.easports.com/nflheadcoach/index.jsp IT'S OUT, IT'S OUT!!! How much time am I now going to waste on this? Help me decide by praying what to do, friends...I am spiritually conflicted....am I not thinking of my brothers and sisters by looking at purchasing this "entertainment"? Who can I share the joys that I get from being entertained by it with? This must be my goal...it must...SHARE

My thanks, to you...o lord....and as a sacrifice to your offering....an extra monetary donation from my servitude of the Richland Prarie Cemetary's green grasses to this church that I have grown to love so much...I pray to continue and learn how to love others unconditionally....unselfishly....Amen

I have a feeling we could do some "Fellowshipping" around the NFL games!

John,

Thanks for the gift to the church, for listening to your heart that is being transformed more and more into a passionate Jesus follower.

Keep moving boldly forward with God and orhers no matter the cost!

you guys have no idea how much of a relief it is to have beaten Satan on that temptation! Buying that game would have done nothing but poison this fellowship I am working on with Journey, and I will continue and ask you to hold me in your thoughts and prayers on helping me "avoid" this temptation.

I have also recently been praying for a couple people in our church that have been working on quitting smoking, and will also ask for your prayers for them to beat Satan and his "fake" quick-euphoric fixes!
