A father's day visit....
Update: The "Anniversary week" went great at the radio station....cake was served(and eaten...not bad...but Hy-Vee always comes through!)...and all that bad weather got through early for it, too...turned out to be a beautiful Thursday evening! Now another possibility has sprung up in my life....got a call from my sister saying she had spoken with one of my first radio employers...and the sad news that things were getting worse for one of my former fellow employees there who has been battling cancer...but the possibility that had arisen from it for employment there...back home...
It has been an extremely alluring possibility to go back to Southeastern Minnesota and live out the rest of my life...or at least the rest of my parent's lives for now....Another difficulty in life, but one that can be extremely awarding, in my opinion....is taking care of the people that took care of you for so many years....and I hope with this possibility....alot of time spent can be achieved through these "golden years"...and I am thankful that I may have the opportunity...we'll update once we know more about what is needed...and if I can figure out how I can sustain a living by taking this possible opportunity.
